You Think: Ohhhh I hope they use the "zha-ku-LEEN" pronounciation--it's so pretty! She might have to correct people on the pronounciation a lot, but they'll catch on and it's worth it. I love the combo with that pronounciation, otherwise it's just ok. I hate how the "JAK-e-lin" pronounciation reminds me of "jackal."

You Think: Argh, I always want to pronounce that name "GEM-ma" with a hard "g" instead of "JEM-ma". I like the sound better that way, too. Oh well, the combo isn't bad if I can just get my head wrapped around the "JEM-ma" bit. I like Noelle better than Gemma, though--nice name, and no ambiguity about pronounciation. People won't try to pronounce that as "NOL" like they do Noel.
