What do you think? I came across it in History is was the real name of Nicholas II of Russia. I was thinking for a middle name for Troy

i think Troy Nikolay (prefer Nikolai) is a really nice name =], ive known a Nicholas, Nikalina, Nikoli, Nicolette and i think of the the "Nic" names are really cool. good choice!

Hmm.. I agree with Bear about the Y.
Somehow don't like the look of the K in combination with Troy.
To me these would look better:
Troy Nicolao
Troy Nicolas
Troy Nicolae

The correct transliteration is Nikolai, with an "i." I know I'm being nerdy, but the "y" has a different sound than an "i." Besides, the "i" spelling looks more sophisticated to my eyes.I'm not the biggest fan of Troy, but Troy Nikolai sounds nice enough.
