This is my daughter, Janice Vina. Her first name is after a friend of mine, and the middle name is after her great-grandmum, Ann LoVene.
You say: Hi, Janice!
You think: It's sweet that she named her after her friend, but I still don't like Janice.
These are my twin daughters, Vienna Carolyn and Lumina Rebecca. Vienna's middle name is after her great-grandmum, and Lumina's is after her mother.

You think: Vienna & Lumina are lovely names!

This is my son, Thomas Clair. I know that the middle name is usually for a girl, but it's after his great-granddad.
You say: Thomas is such a handsome name.
You think: The combo Thomas Clair sounds great. I love Thomas, and although I wouldn't like it if Clair was the first name (neither would little boy Clair, I suspect), Thomas Claire has a great ring to it!
These are my twin sons, Gabriel Joseph and Zavier Nicholas. Both middle names are after their uncles. We sometimes affectionately call them Gabe and Zave, but not usually.

You think: Love Gabriel and Zavier! (although I prefer Xavier, prn. the same way)
This is my son, Dominick Roger. The middle name is after his great-granddad. Ocassionally we call him Nick, but his usual name is Dominick.

You think: Don't really like Dominick, especially that spelling.
This is my son, Eliakim William. The middle name is after his great-great-granddad. He goes by Eli.

You think: Wow, when you put Eliakim William is quite a mouthful. It does not flow well at all.
