Ivy - I don't think it's common but I really don't like it at all. It reminds too much of other things (like IV and the poison plant) so I have difficulty seeing it as a name.
Angel - yes, it is slightly bimbo-ish on a girl, which is one of the reasons why I prefer it on a boy.
