Maria & Miriam would definitely be too close, and so would Miriam & Marisol imo. They're all Mary-related. Maria & Margaret or Miriam & Margaret would be fine though.
I love Maria - it's a sweet-sounding name, and it makes me think of "The Sound of Music" which is always good!
