[Opinions] Lila?

Hmm...
I absolutely adore Lila (pronounced LY-luh) and Lily, but I'm not sure how I feel about the "Lilla" pronounciation. It intrigues me, but it sort of comes across as some sort of weird hybrid - like the person just couldn't choose. How about Liliana? You could throw around quite a few nicknames with that one, even Lilla on occassion.
What about Laila (LAY-luh, although it can be pronounced like LY-luh) or Leila (LEE-luh)?

Pronounced that way, it would be Lilla (or at least that spelling would make more sense, imo).
If you want it to sound like LIH-luh, spell it Lilla. More people will guess the pronunciation, though you'd have to do quite a bit of correcting anyhow.
Lilla Mei would be pretty (though I far prefer May and Mae).

O come, Grateful Deadheads,
And camp in the street.
A revolution without dancing is a revolution not worth having.

Lila looks somehow incomplete to me. I much prefer Lilah.
I love the name Lila, although I prefer it spelt Lilah (I have a thing for the letter H). Lila Mei is very, very pretty, and I personally think it sounds better than Lily Mei.
[ETA] Oh, I was mispronouncing the name. Is it Lila as in "LIL-ah"? That's quite sweet, although I prefer the "LIE-lah" prounounciation. I still think Lila Mei sounds better, with either pronounciation.
"You've become quite a stud."
"And...you're the most stylin' girl in the world."
