[Opinions] Seanna
I saw on a parenting show a little girl named Seanna-but it was pronounced See-anna. I always thought that name was pron. shawn-a but I kind of liked the See anna pronounciation. It grew on me. (I do love Shauna too). So WDYT??

I've seen Sienna before, pronounced the way you said you liked.
I know an Irish boy named this, pron. 'Shaw-na'
I prefer Sienna :)

I would immediately pronunce it like Shawna. For the see-anna pronunciation, Sianna would make more sense to me, since the name Sian isn't nearly as established as Sean in the US.
I don't like it, either way.

I thought it was Shawn-ah, too, but the Shawnas I know spell it as such.
I don't care for the SEE-anna prn. It's like, "Look! See, there's Anna! Do you see Anna?" Yeah, dumb, but I can't help it. I'm not a fan of the Sierra/Sienna/etc names anyway, and I think SEE-anna would fit as a creative for of an already trendy grouping.
Magnanimous Despair alone could show me so divine a thing, where feeble hope could ne'er have flown, but vainly flapped its tinsel wing.
