WDYT? Will it sound weird if the mn is Brent-after the father?

I like the name, but personally I prefer the spelling Brodie. I don't like the combo Brodie Brent either, it just doesn't sound right.

Sorry, I really don't care for the name Brody at all. I grew up in the 80s with the slang word 'grody' and that's all I can think of when I hear Brody. It's very unattractive for that reason.I also don't think Brody Dalby or Brody Brent Dalby sound good at all.

Brody is nice, but Brody Bent? I dont know about that. I think it does depend on the ln, and since mn's are rarely heard of these days, its not out of the question. But I wouldnt want to say my name (or son's name) is Brody Brent.I do like the combo Ambrose Brent, at least, a lot better than Brody Brent. Even though Brody stands on its own, and Ambrose is great with no nn needed, if Ambrose is doable for you and the father, then I think Ambrose Brent "Brody" would be the best route to go. Otherwise, I hope you decide on a new fn if Brent is a must (even though I really do like Brody, I have dropped a lot of names due to them not fitting with my SO surname and the likes).~~Kris~~

last name is Dalby. So Brody Dalby...too many "e" sounds?

Brody Brent does sound rather silly as a combination, sorry. But I could be influenced by the fact that I just don't like the name Brody.

I think that Ambrose with the nickname Brody would sound better. Ambrose Brent flows much better than Brody Brent, I think.

It also depends on the last name. I think it is okay. Brody is a very strong name.

Last name is Dalby. And then I wonder if there are too many "e" sounds when you say the name without the mn.

I would be more worried about the "d" sounds clashing in Brody Dalby. Brody Brent Dalby just sounds off. I'm not sure if this is any better, but what about Broderick Brent, nn Brody? Broderick Dalby sounds nice.

AgreeI love the name Brody, and I would use it as a nn for Broderick. Broderick Brent Dalby sounds ok in my opinion, but I agree with everyone else that Brody Brent is not a good combo.

I was thinking the same thing..."e" wise that is...Even without the mn, Brody Dalby...I dont like how both end in the same sound~~Kris~~

Brody Brent Dalby and Brody Dalby are tongue twisters, imo. And while I don't mind Brody, all I can think of is that he'd be called Grody Brody. :-/
