[Opinions] Jeannette
For some reason, I suddenly really like the name Jeannette. I can't decide if I like it better as a fn or a mn, but I think I'm leaning towards a fn at the moment.Wdyt of Jeannette? Do you prefer it as a fn or mn? Do you have any fn/mn suggestions?

Honestly, Jeanette doesn't excite me. However, I think the positives are that you don't hear it every day and it has an exotic french feeling about it. So if you love it go with it!

I love it! I'd prefer it with only one 'N', but I like it just the same. It reminds me of the beautiful, talented actress Jeanette MacDonald of the 1930s. I think it would make a great first name.Jeannette Anna (Anna was the middle name of the aforementioned Ms MacDonald.)

I like Jeannette, and prefer it as a first name. But it's nice as a middle name, too. I like it best with a more simple middle name.

I think Jeannette is very pretty. I would probably consider it myself, but I love Janis and Janet and Jane and Joan and Jean and Janine more, so it gets pushed down to far for me to think about it much. :( As either a first or a middle name, I think it's fabulous. As far as combos go...well, Jeannette Isabella comes to mind, of course. ;) So does Jeannette Lucia (for light, as in the torch Jeannette Isabella's supposed to bring). Ivy Jeannette, as well. Clara Jeannette, Daphne Jeannette, Jeannette Mariela (like Jeannette Isabella, but more interesting), Jeannette Faustina, Jeannette Francesca, Jeannette Talitha, Jeannette Nicolina?Three or four syllables would be my preference for a middle name. Jeannette Clover and Jeannette Ruth feel unbalanced as far as rhythm goes, but Jeannette Ophelia and Jeannette Alexandra are fabulous...as far as rhythm goes. Your mileage might vary as far as the names themselves are concerned. ;)Array

Jeannette is nice, but I prefer the spelling Jeanette probably because I know someone who spells it like that. Her name is Jeanette Violet, which I don't think sounds great, but whatever.

Jeannette is my Mom's name.I've grown to like it - shame I can't say the same about my mom, who's not so fond of her name! Her mn is Alice.
