I don't really know how many years were supposed to elapse, so I'm just making it up...
Gunnar, an architect, has built a beautiful home in Colorado for his family. Gloria, an author, writes popular fiction books for kids. She gets some of her ideas from her own kids: Christian, Natalie, Dylan, Samuel, and Tristan. Right now, Christian, Dylan, and Samuel are interested in sports, cartoons, bugs, playing outside, and collecting Pokemon cards. Even though Natalie is a tomboy and likes the same things, sometimes, she gets left out by her brothers. Instead, she helps out with the new baby, Tristan. The kids (except Tristan, of course) are doing well in kindergarten and making friends that they invite over sometimes.
