I just realised that Balbina is not on the data base. Sorry! It means "stammering, stuttering". Not very flattering either.
St. Balbina was a (probably legendary) 4th cent. martyr.Andy ;—)

It means strong. It translates to Girl. Kind of like the Irish name Colleen. Balbina is the Saint of Kropt and neck injuries, her Saint Day is March 31.Can you tell I have been doing research? Trying to find out information about my great grandmother, Balbina Standarska(i).Jenn

Are you saying BALBINA means "strong"? Or "girl"? Where did you read this? I'm sure you've done some research - I just wonder: where?
Are you searching more information about the surname of your great grandmother? Your message seems a little confusing to me.Andy ;—)
