Help[Opinions] Perianth
What do you think of Perianth as a girl's name? It's a part of a flower, and when I heard it I thought it sounded like a name.

There are so many nicer-sounding names involving "anth" that I can't imagine why anyone would pick one as unattractive sounding as Perianth. Ianthe, Anthea, Acantha, Amarantha, Calanthe, Calantha, Calanthia, Chrysanthe, Chrysanthemum, Diantha, Iolanthe, Ianthina, Melantha, Melanthia, Xanthe, Xanthippe...All sound much prettier to me and don't bring to mind the perineum.

Perianth... I don't really like it, but with a sober middle name I suppose it could work. Everyone would call her Perry or Perri!

Sorry, I don't like it. Then again, I'm not too into word names.
