I'd pronuce it aav-vuh-LEE-nah, with the Ave part sounding like the first two syllables in "avenue". It's not something I'm hugely fond of, but it'd be real cute for someone else's child.

I've only ever heard it pronounced as ah-vah-LEE-na (so not like ay-vah-LEE-na), so to rhyme with Adeline but with a 'v' sound rather than a 'd' sound.

I like it, it's on my list along with Aveline. Though I do prefer Adelina / Adeline.

Avelina is a nice name. I nn would probably be Ava which I don't like.
