I came across an interesting & likable (well to me anyway) variation on the names Beatrice/Beatrix, belonging to a girl I went to university with. Her name is Beátri (pronounced Bee - aah - tree). Any comments?

I prefer Beatrix. I don't know, Beatri seems unfinished to me.

I like Beatrix and maybe Beatri as a nickname but not a first name.

It's a different spelling and I actually like although I don't really like the name itself.
