Adam and Eva isn't toned down at all. There are many languages where Adam and Eva are the first two people in the Bible, I'm Dutch and here we say "Adam and Eva" not "Adam and Eve".
I have to admit I like Armand too because of the vampires. At least not everyone will immediately think of those like with Adam and Eva.
His idea for the girls are not my style at all. I can imagine your frustration with the whole thing!
Liam and Joshua are very nice, especially if you'd use the nn Josh, which I like very much. I only like Olivia with the nn Liv. Jade is not something I'd choose.
I hope you can change his mind. Maybe you can get him to combine his ideas:
GG: Claudia (vampire) and Eva
BG: Armand and Eva
BB: Jamie and Riley (I just like them better on boys)
I'd love to see Joshua and Olivia (especially as Josh and Liv)
