Lulie and Felix are two now, and we've welcomed another daughter into the family! Her name is Jenna Elisabeth. The kids are all very happy to have another baby in the house, though I think the older ones are a little overwhelmed (especially Janie and Madison). Janie, 27, married Michael Smith last summer. The pair is expecting a son in about four months. Janie is very excited about being a mother, "for real this time" she says. Michael is a full-fledged doctor now. He works in general practicioning. Janie is working at the maternity ward for another two-three months, then she'll take a few months off to stay home with our first grandchild! Madison is headlong into her counselling studies. She hopes to tell people about her experiences, and counsel pregnant teens and their families. Kami and Carly are in seventh grade now. Kami has switched from gymnastics to rock climbing. Carly is still playing soccer, but she's beginning to notice the boys a little bit. Perry and Gwaihir are in sixth grade. They are still playing soccer. Perry wants to go professional some day. Gwaihir hasn't decided what he really wants to do yet. Adam is in third grade. He is taking karate lessons with younger brother Freddy (who is in first grade now). Annie, Kelsey, Olivia, and Davie are in Kindergarten now! Annie and Kelsey are in one class while Olivia and Davie are in another. We didn't want to burden the teacher with four little kids that look amazingly similar. Lulie and Felix are two. They will go to preschool next year. These two are the quietest of all the kids and seem to like their alone time. Piper, our Labrador, hasn't slowed down a bit, and loves playing with all the kids.
