[Opinions] Josepha
How would you pronounce Josepha? Seems like jo-SEE-fa to me, but maybe that's not standard.

I would pronounce it jo-SEHF-ah. I personally just can't see the long "e" sound in there. Jo-SEE-fa is all right, but I think I prefer the other way.

I would also pronunce it jo-SEE-faMainly because of a character in a book I once read.Don't really care for it, but like it better than Josephine.

I've always assume it was jo-SEF-ah, which sounds kind of awkward to me, but since I've never heard it pronounced, that was just the first thing I latched on to. :b I don't know that I like it, but I do prefer Josephine.

I'd say joe-SEH-fah.

I pronounce it jo-SEH-fa. I automatically think of Sarah Josepha Hale when I hear the name, which is a good association for me.

I'd pronounce it jo-SEH-fuh. I don't like it myself; I prefer Joseph.

My first guess would be jo-SEFF-ah. Maybe JO-seff-ah but that seems contrived to me, because it's obviously just Joseph with an 'ah' on the end. I don't see jo-SEE-fah personally.

The name reminds me of the historian Josephus, which is pronounced with the long E, hence Jo-SEE-fuh. Jo-SEH-fuh and Jo-SAY-fuh are quite nice too, though. Maybe even nicer.

I would pronounce it jo-SEH-fah. jo-SEE-fa seems wrong to me. Josepha is very pretty though. :)

I would say jo-SEE-fuh, but I wouldn't object to someone else pronouncing it JO-seh-fuh.

Well, being from AZ, close to the border of Mexico, I would pronounce this name as ho-sef-a.

I usually pronounce it the Spanish way: ho-SAY-pha. I've never known anyone by this name who was Hispanic, though, so that's probably why. jo-SEE-fa would most definitely work for an English speaker. It's a nice name. For some reason, I life it a lot better than I like Joseph.
