[Opinions] Cecilia and Leonardo
I'm going through a bit of a shift when it comes to my favourite names. Maybe it is to do witth the new year, but I think quite a few people are experiencing this.I have recently been very much taken with Cecilia and Leonardo, rather than my usual Cordelia and Theodore. What do you think of them? Any ideas for combos would be appreciated too.I'd also love ideas for sibs. I have been thinking about Augusta, but I'm not entirely sure. Thanks in advance!Edit: links

Cecilia and Leonardo strike me as more romantic sounding than Cordelia and Theodore. I really like Cordelia, and I enjoy Theodore (especially NN Theo), but between the two pairs, I'd take Cecilia and Leonardo. I love Cecilia; it's so feminine and soft, and Celia is a great NN. Leonardo has the NN Leo which I also adore, and while I like Theodore in and of itself, the meaning just sticks in my mind and kind of ruins it for me. I don't have hangups about a Leonardo, and Da Vinci is a wonderful namesake.I agree with Bear that Italian names seem to fit with them.
Antonia (grin), Octavia, Lucia, Allegra, Adriano, Agostina, Benedetto, Bettina, etc.

Cecilia is lovely. I don't know why I've never really warmed to Cordelia. Perhaps because Cordelia usually overshadows one of my favorites: Cornelia. Theodore is nice. What do you think of Isidore? I want to like Leonardo, but Mr. Davinci owns this name so thoroughly in my mind I can't see the name without thinking of him. (Mr. DaCaprio hasn't managed to make a dent in my imaging center, apparently.) Overall, Leonardo isn't a bad name but I prefer Leopold. I love the name Augusta. For some reason Beatrice popped into my mind as a sibling. I think it's because Cecilia and Leonardo make me think of medieval Italy. Others:Anna, Livia, Francesca, Simonetta, Ginevra, Bianca, Artemisia (Mia / Mimi?), Teresa, Clara;Benedict, Matteo, Julian, Felix, Clement, Roman, Anton, August, Ignatius / Inigo, Marius, Nicolas.

I like Cornelia too, but I always think of corns when I hear it and I think that has dampened my enthusiasm for it.I like Isidore a lot, thanks for the idea.As for sibs Francesca, Ginevra, Benedict, Matteo, Felix, August and Inigo are brilliant. You've been fantastic, as ever.
