Well mine would have to be without a doubt... BilliJo Faith and BobbiJo Hope... and they were born in July 2005.

The one that springs to mind...
... is Daeshanique and Dahshanique (not totally sure on the spellings; I went to elementary school with the girls, so it was a long time ago). They're pronounced DAY-shawn-eek and DAH-shawn-eek, or thereabouts.
The names themselves aren't my taste at all, but that's not the bothersome part, IMO. It's the fact that the names are so close to one another. I dislike themey twinsets like that, and I personally don't like it when the names sound so much alike that they'd both probably come running if one of their parents called them from the bottom of the stairs. I already have enough trouble with that with the names Caitlin and Nathan. :P
There are probably more twins with less-than-stellar names whom I've met, but those were the ones that spring to mind. Right now, I'm actually recalling more GOOD twin sibling names than bad. Go figure. :P

M'Lee and M'Lou
These are some twins my mother knows.

Do they sound like Millie and Miloo or Emlee and Emloo?
They are pronounced more like muh-LEE and muh-LOO.
PS- They are both women.
Rick and his younger sister Rika. *boring*
I grew up with Lina and Lisa.
Looked identical, dressed identical, one could never remember who was who because the names just added confusion.

I remember seeing twins named Jenilyn and Jerilyn in a yearbook once.
Ned and Ted - full names.
Ewww. Those are pretty bad. :(
Some of the not-so-great ones we've had at work over the last couple of years (I work at a hospital) include...
G/G: BriAnna Anastasia & Bryanah Catherine (yes, bree-ANN-ah and bree-AHN-ah. :-/ That ANAstasia stuck in there doesn't help either, lol.)
G/G: Ke'Ana & De'Ana
G/G: Jaylin & Jaylah
G/G: Jalah & Jaliyah -- these are two separate sets!
G/G: Jayden & Jacey
B/G: LoMarcus & LoMiya
G/G: Miracle Desire & Mi’Angel Destiny (Desire is prn. like the word, not Desiree. Mi'Angel = My Angel)
B/G: John Porter "Porter" & Pagett (PAJ-et) Scott (yes, the 2nd twin is a girl, and they had a sister named Peyton James :-/)
G/G: Qytanah & Qytarah
G/G: Caitlynn Elizabeth & Cathlynn Elizabeth
B/G: Alex James & Alexandria
B/B: Amir Dion & Amari Dontae (though I've posted about these guys a couple of times and several posters seem to like their names... way too cutesy for me :-/)
G/B: Dawson Isabella & Maximus Isaac
+ one triplet set - G/G/G: Katelin & Ashlin & Rylin
Also, we have a Kennedy & Trinity sister set right now (their triplet brother is Seth :b).

...wha?
...wha?
The one that really stuck out to me is Fewl. Is that a kree8tiv spelling for "fuel"? :-/ Did they think, 'oh cute, it rhymes with Jewel'? Looks like a combo of "eww" + "foul" = fewl. :b
I didn't think "fuel" - I've seen "fool" creatively spelled "fewl". :-/
I'm sure that's exactly what they thought. :( Rather pathetic, in my opinion.
Did they think, 'oh cute, it rhymes with Jewel'?
I almost choked on my toast reading that! Ha :)

Except, I'm not eating toast...I cracked up though!

Charles and Charlene: The names themselves are not bad, but together? Also, those two were some seriously bad kids, I think they both ended up in jail eventually.
Ken and Kent
Annie and Angie
My stepfather and his twin sister are Larry and Linda. No middle names. Neither of those names is bad, and Linda is downright pretty in my book, but they were born in 1950, so they went to school with four other Larrys and five or six other Lindas.
And this pair I saw on a missing persons website some time ago, and I will remember their names till long after I've forgotten my own name and how to feed myself:
Classy Chant'el Florecia and Sassy Quant'el Florecia.
I think I got the spellings right. They were 12 year old black girls, a hundred pounds overweight, who ran off with their mother from a group home or something.
Classy and Sassy. They may be a lot of things, but classy is very likely NOT one of them. And what's nice about sassy? Who likes a sassy kid?

sas·sy (sas'ee)
adjective
sas·si·er, sas·si·est
1. Rude and disrespectful; impudent.
2. Lively and spirited; jaunty.
3. Stylish; chic: a sassy little hat.
Two out of three of these definitions are positive ones. Remember that African-American culture generally rewards (ie, gives positive feedback and is receptive to) unusual names, both made-up words and differently-used words like this.
Personally I see nothing wrong with it in the context of this child's life circumstances. And being sassy is often thought of, by myself and others, as being the same as having spunk or moxie, the latter of which was just recently discussed on this very board as a name. It's not automatically a bad thing.

I see sassy as a good ajective. I never use the word 'sassy' negatively, rather I use the expression "Don't sass me" but if I describe someone as sassy it is to say they are spunky and quirky.
yeah, exactly
Classy & Sassy?
One got the good adjective, the other bad? That's SAD.

So which is the good one and which is the bad one?
There are lots of people who think that "sassy" is a very positive thing to be these days. Plus it can be derived as a pet form from Saskia or Sassafras.
Classy, on the other hand, seems like a rather snobbish thing to name one's child to me. :)

This made me chuckle even more than their names:
...I will remember their names till long after I've forgotten my own name and how to feed myself
With names like that, maybe those girls should've ran away from their mother and not with her. :-/ (Honestly, I do hope they're ok. ALL joking aside.)

edit to add two more...
I know quite a few same initial letter sets and rhyming sets but the worst would be a b/g set named Alan and Alana. They were named after their father Alan.
ETA: I don't know them personally but I remember reading about twin boys Sean and Jean. I don't remember their mns but those were similar too. I also know quads named Mary, Marie, Marian and Mary Ann.

I think it's a safe bet Dad has a big ego.
No, maybe Mom is just a bit too much of a hero worshipper.
Way back when I was in junior high school (ancient times, I know), my junior high school science teacher had the first name of Robert. His daughter was named Roberta, and a couple of years later when a son was born he was named Robert Jr. My teacher insisted that this was all his wife's idea and he really didn't want both a Roberta and a Robert Jr. in the family. :)

Good point. Could've been all Mom's idea....
And OT, I think you and I are the same age, and the oldest here, I believe. Should I shock everyone else and actually SAY when junior high was? Oh, OK -- the '60s.

Jeffrey and Joshua "Jeff-and-Josh." They looked exactly alike, too--two little paleskies with quiet voices and no apparent personalities. There was no way to tell them apart.

ah, that reminds me!
Of an undistinguishable set of twins I knew back in Oklahoma. They were guys named Bert and Bart. Both big, loud, mean rednecks, the only different things about them was they had different prison tattoos. lol
