[Opinions] Eulala
Marcia Gay Harden has a daughter named Eulala and I have liked it for some time but recently I have decided I really love it.
I don't care for Eulalia (which seems overly frilly to me) and I really dislike Eulalie. I like it pronounced yew-lay-lah, so would Eulaila be a better spelling? Eulala looks prettier to me but I worry about how people would pronounce it.
Anyway, WDYT of Eulala? Eulaila?
Any combo suggestions?

sounds beautiful, but I think it looks hideous, I would say yew-la-la, althought I did hope it was yew-lay-lah. I think Eulaila is much prettier.

Eulala looks much better. I don't think too many people will struggle with the prn. I like it. It's unusual and very pleasant sounding. NN Euly/Eulee would would also.
The first thing I thought when I saw Eulala was "ooh la la!". The yoo-LAY-luh pronunciation isn't bad, but I would expect a lot of people to try for yoo-LAH-luh, which sounds awful.
In general, it's nms but I wouldn't totally cringe to see it on someone else's child.
