I know a male character on Everwood was named Bright.

I always thought it was very unusual on a boy, esp. when his sis. on the show was named Amy!

Opinions on Bright for boy or girl?

my dad's cousin has a daughter named Brighton, she is adorable =)
i do like the name Bright for a girl but it sounds a little odd on a boy.

My combo for the name Emily was Emily Bright for awhile, so I quite like it as a mn on a girl but thats it.

actually in the show...his name is Harold Brighton Abbott 3rd with the nickname of Bright.

I like Brighton nn Bright on a boy.

Bright sucks for either gender. It reminds me of Rainbow Brite.
On the plus side though, it sounds better than Dwight.
