my grandmother was named Pauline, so to honour her my daughter will be named Megan Paulina :)

I like it. It's dated, but in a way that would be too cute on a little girl or a teenaged girl. I prefer Paulina or Polina (both of which I pronunce poh-LEEN-ah rather than paw-LEEN-ah), but it's perfectly nice for someone else's kid.Array

One of my favorite great-aunts on my mom's side was named Pauline. I think of a sweet, round-faced woman with sparkling, fun-filled blue eyes who radiates love and warmth. She hated the name Pauline, though, and preferred to be called Aunt Paul or Aunt Paulie. I can also picture this on a young girl; to me, this name isn't doomed to old-lady-ness. :o) I'm hoping it will make a comeback like some of the other old-fashioned names.

I'm getting to like it. It always used to seem too bland and dated to me, but I've been liking Paul-related names a lot more lately. Paola and Paulina are probably my favorite variants, and above all for similar sounding (yet not related) names I love Polina.

It's pretty enough, but I prefer Paula. I initially think of an older person, but I could see a little girl named Pauline.

While I would prefer Paulette or Paulina, the name is still nice enough.

I think of an old person and they look like Pauline Fowler out of eastenders.
