Tansy is a girls name from the flower, which got its name from a shortening of Athanasia an Ancient Greek name that derived from Athanasius an Ancient Greek name which means immortal.

Cute! I really like it, although i am not sure it is agreat name for adult.

Though I think it's borderline too-cutesy, I do rather like it. It's sort of a guilty pleasure for me.

No thank you. It has a weak, whiny wimpy quality to it. Or like baby talk, though I don't know why. Maybe because it's soo similar to pansy, which really does mean wimpy.
