I'm not sure about your spelling of those names.
I think Tegan for a girl is quite pretty. I believe it is a Cornish name, I can't quite recall the meaning, I think it was something very nice though.
Keegan is usually a boy name, I've met a girl called Keelin though, which is also quite pretty.
I think surnames, Irish or otherwise, can be very nice to use if they are family names and have special meaning to you. That way, they never age, and never become unfashionable to you.
