I've been giving quite a few Irish names some thought over the past few days...weeks?..and I was curious as to which 'traditional' Irish names other people liked as well. I've been through the BtN pages countless times, but some just seem to be too Irish for the States, you know? Which names do you both like and could see on a child in both Ireland and the US?

Also, I stumbled across Kane (also Irish, surprise...). Wdyt? And though Shannon comes up as English, I've always considered it Irish, and I dislike it very much. I don't know what it is. Probably too many bad associations.
