I personally dont like it at all. Bea reminds me of Friends (TV show). Ross singing "I am Bea, I drink tea, wont you dance around with me" when he was a kid (it was in an episode).
Anyway, I do (did) have a friend that was obsessed with this name because of Trixie Belden (?) books. NN Trixie of course. Trixie is a cute nn, but I dont like Beatrix or Bea.
