I love Avis too. I always wonder why more people aren't thinking of it, always plumping for tiresome Ava.

b/c Avis reminds them of the car rental company. I know an Avis (she's an older lady) and although I'm a big fan of "old-lady chic," I still have a really hard time picturing a young girl with the name Avis.
