Pronounced, at least in my mind, ze-NAID-ah. Lately this name has been growing on me more and more. WDYT? Possible nn Naida.

I pronounce it "zen-ah-EE-da," but that's only because I first came across it as a Russian name. I haven't heard it pronounced in English, but "ze-NAID-a" seems reasonable enough.

I love Zenaida! Just on a side note, another elegant "z" name I like is Zuleika, which means "brilliant." Zenaida River is nice.

Your combo is cute. I like the sound of Zenaida, and that's how I'd pronounce it too.

I love this name. I find it very intriguing in an exotic kind of way. Zenaida River is a very nice combo, it flows so well imo.
BTW: I pronounce the name as zen-ah-EE-dah with the prefered nn of 'Zena'.
Edit: I'd better add that I pronounce the nn Zena like 'Zenna' rather than 'Zeena'. The latter is too warrior princess for me! LOL XD

I love Zenaida, it's one of my favorite girls' names, along with Zenaide (the French version). That's how I pronounce it too. I like nn Zen, Zaida, or Zena but Naida is okay.
Sorry, I don't like river as a name for anyone, plus I don't think the combo sounds right. Zenaida is exotic but River is, well, boring IMO.

I prefer River on a boy myself, but I'm not against it on a girl at all! Infact I'd use it if I had to.
Zenaida River is lovely, I think the other way around is just as lovely too.

You know, my appreciation for River on a girl has increased exponentially since someone picked up River Tam in my RPG. :D I'm seriously planning on getting around to watching Firefly, ferreals. And I would never have gotten there in the first place if you hadn't kept mentioning it, so you get credit, too. ;)

Maybe its because I have never actually heard the name said alloud by someone who isn't me, but I can't figure out how the ah-EE-dah would sound. *shrug* I am a notorious mispronouncer.
I like Zen and Zenna. Zennie is cute, too.
