[Opinions] Georgiana

I found the name Georgiana in Pride & Prejudice who is Mr. Darcy's sister. I think it is quite a sophisticated name, strong and feminine. What is everyone's opinions and impressions ?Does anyone have any suggestions on middle names ? My mind went blank when I tride to think of middle names.Thank you.

I like Georgiana, but I can't help thinking about the wicked Georgiana Reed in Charlotte Bronte's Jane Eyre.

I agree with you--sophisticated, strong, and feminine are the words that come to mind with me for feminine versions of 'George' in general. I tend to like them with "E" middle names, like:Georgiana Elizabeth

Georgiana Elodie or Elodia
Georgiana Eulalie
Georgiana Emmaline
Georgiana Emmanuelle
Georgiana Eleanor
Georgiana Edmonda
Georgiana Eveline

Georgiana is pretty but I prefer Georgina myself
I think Georgiana needs a fairly simple short middle name, myself I think it is nicer as a middle name like say Lucy Georgiana, Lily GeorgianaGeorgiana Rose

Ooh, that's where I found it, too! My impression is likewise to yours. I've loved Georgiana ever since I read Pride & Prejudice.The only combos I have right now are Georgiana Pearl and Georgiana Willow which, even though I came up with them, don't really strike me as particularly beautiful. Hmm . . .

I think Georgiana is a lovely, unusual name, but it is so elaborate and flowery that I would suggest a very simple but pretty middle name: Georgiana Ruth or Georgiana Rose.

I love Georgiana too. I slightly wary of it now because names ending in "-ana" seem to be a little be trendy. It is beautiful nonetheless though.Mn ideas:Georgiana Iris
