[Opinions] Re: Arrivals of 2006 + Local BA's
The other newspaper in my area does a HUGE section of birth announcements. They only do it once a year & it easily has over 100 babies. It comes out in March & I buy it just to see all the names. It is like Christmas for name nerds :)Mitchell Paul - nice flow, classic names, not too popular but not uncommon either
Kaitlyn May - I like it better because of the May, which is so sweet and simple.
Matthew Thomas - classic, safe combo
Hayden John - nice
Wilson Jon Inandan - prefer John but Wilson JOhn sounds nice & I'm guessing Inandan is a family or ethnic name
Emily Jane - very plain & simple
Patrick Thomas - nice, classic, timeless names
Stuart Bruce - Bruce Stuart sounds better. Dated names but he will probably be the only Stuart or Bruce
Hope Cleopatra - I would never use Cleopatra on a person but this sounds very pretty & Hope is a hard name to find a middle name that it has a good flow with
Mikayla Clare - ehh, ok
Jessica Jo - sounds kind of country, cute but not too cutesy
Joshua - I love the name Joshua
Emma Rebecca - not crazy about the double "-a" endings but sweet classic names
Carlee Grace - very cute and modern sounding
Kyan Peter - ok
Banjo Lillian - Banjo?? On a girl?? At least it flows nice with Lillian
Layla Annabelle - this is the best combo so far. So very pretty- it is slightly exotic yet classic and romantic
Lucie Catherine - cute
Allyssa Catherine - ok, prefer Alyssa or Alissa
Brodie Jack Robert - I like Brodie Jack and I like Jack Robert but all together, it seems too much
Samuel Alexander - very classic, timeless
Breanna - ok
Stevie Leigh Maddison - can't think of anything to say for this one. Don't hate it but don't like it either
Holly - underused in the US, simple, sweet
Breanna Kristy - sounds good but don't care for Kristy as a ful name
Jonah Adrian - very nice
Jack William - very classic
Imogen Molly - I like the names together but there isn't the best flow
Chelsea Lee - the flow is weird, chopppy like
Summer Elizabeth - ok
Timothy Arthur - I really like this combo & I don't know why. Neither name is a favorite but they pair really well together
Maddison Paige - very trendy
Sienna Christine Margaret - I think Sienna Catherine Margaret would sound better but all in all, a good name
Jayden Roy - sounds good but an odd pairing. Jayden is so trendy and Roy has never been really popular.
Phillip Charles - royal sounding name
Cooper James - ok
Logan Peter - ok
Marissa Sue ok
Jack Christopher - nice classic names, good combo-the short with the long
Siennah Jenneke - no idea what the middle name is; prefer Sienna. Why the extra h?
Christian Faraday - sounds good, would guess Faraday is a family name
Emma Kate - short and short, timeless classic
Claire Lesley - Lesley Claire sounds a lot better but both nice classic names
Antonio - ok
Dylan James John - James JOhn has no flow whatsoever. Dylan James would have been fine
Makayla Renee - sounds nice
Emily Rose - plain
Amira Jayne - very pretty sounding, even if Amira is not my taste at all
Connor - ok
Matthew Mark - I actually like the alliteration here
Liam John - very short, flows not the best but an ok name
Tyrone Alan - ehh
Kaitlyn Natalie - no flow
Elisa Angel - pretty, even if I don't really like Angel as a name. Elissa is very pretty; I like it better than Alissa
Faith Maree - ehh
Caelan Jamieson - very trendyJaimee Kayla - Not the best flow
Noah John - ok
Lachlan Jack - ok
Shawn Michael - nice, new classic
Simun - ??
Adeline Louise - sweetly old fashioned, sounds & looks pretty
Christopher Phoenix - sounds really good; little surprised to see Phoenix on boy though
Alec Liam - like both names but this combo is a little too nicknamey & short. Alexander Liam or Alec William would have been better, imo.
