Dear Mum,
I realized that throughout all this time of the pregnancy I have mussed you more than I have since the wedding and maybe even more so. On Janurary 14th at 3:53 am I gave birth to Matthew Andrew Elias. Mum, he is beautiful. I wish you could be here to hold him and see him. I loved him on instant, of course I loved him the moment I found out. He was pretty small however, I gave birth to him at 35 weeks and he was only 4 pounds 9 onzes and only 18 inches. Now he's at 8 pounds and out of the hospital and home with us.
