Dear Mom and Dad,
Life is a bit overwhelming here. Six months ago, we adopted Deirdre and just last month the triplets started Kindergarten. Now we have quadruplets to raise! I know I said I always wanted a big family, but not with everyone this close in age. The quads were born nearly three months early. Thankfully, they are all relatively healthy though they are still in the NICU. Gina is the strongest and had the fewest health problems. Irena and Bryan had some respiratory issues. Liam was the weakest and has so far required two surgeries to fix a hole in his heart and to drain fluid in his lungs. The triplets helped Loki and I come up with names. Matt picked our Joy, Michaela (which we turned into Michael), and he liked Liam as a name for one of the babies. Judy didn't really like too many names, but she chose the combo Gina Violet from our list. Becca loved helping us pick out the names, and she suggested all sorts of names. From her lengthy list we chose William and Bryan. Love you!
