This is my son Travis Cameron
You think: ok, doesn't flow as well as it could. Cameron is too unisex for my tastes.
This is my daughter Ayesha Mary
You think: pretty name, but only like it spelled Aisha. I don't think Aisha goes with Mary at all.
This is my son Bailey Christopher
You think: Again, the unisex thing.
This is my daughter Sofia Margaret
You think: It's ok, prefer it spelled Sophia.
These are my twins Lochlan Nathaniel and Connor Lathaniel
You think: Don't care too much for the names, but I think it's cute when twins have some sort of connection in names. Like, you have the rhyming MN's.
This is my mother Judith Margaret
You think: Sounds like an older woman's name.
This is my sister Rebecca Dianne Marie
You think: Don't care for the double MN unless the FN & 1 Mn is short. Example: Lily Rose, Elle Grace, etc. I prefer the sp. Diane. I think the double MN is ok in this case though because Marie is a common MN and sounds good with basically any name IMO. It's just kind of long. Going back to the example thing, Lily Rose Marie, Elle Grace Marie, etc.

You say: Handsome name.
You think: I have never liked Travis, makes me think of a redneck. But it's not horrible. Cameron is ok.
This is my daughter Ayesha Mary
You say: How nice.
You think: Yuck.
This is my son Bailey Christopher
You say: Cool name.
You think: I prefer Bailey for a boy. But it's also rather common for Golden Retrievers (incl. my sister's).
This is my daughter Sofia Margaret

You think: same
These are my twins Lachlan Nathaniel and Connor Lathaniel
You say: Great names.
You think: The first one's great, the 2nd is so-so. Could definitely do w/out rhyming mn's but it's better than rhyming fn's.

This is my son Travis Cameron
You say: How nice! I do like the name Cameron.
You think: It was so clever before ten million other people used it. Wish the same could be said for Trevor.
This is my daughter Ayesha Mary
You say: What a pretty name. Do you like the song?
You think: I do--"Aicha" is fun--but it's for its cheesy edge, not for its genius.
This is my son Bailey Christopher
You say: Nice to meet you, Bailey.
You think: It's one of those names where maybe I should care, but honestly? There's nothing interesting enough to make me.
This is my daughter Sofia Margaret
You say: What a pretty name!
You think: Very pretty, but has her mother heard any name that isn't on the top 100?
These are my twins Lochlan Nathaniel and Connor Lathaniel
You say: I love Lochlan.
You think: Spelled Lachlan, of course. Can't stand Connor. But at least their middle names aren't their firsts--I wouldn't want to be poor Lathaniel.
This is my mother Judith Margaret
You say: Nice to meet you.
You think: What a nice lady. Why am I getting her middle name again?
This is my sister Rebecca Dianne Marie
You say: Nice to meet you.
You think: Does this family go by their full names, or am I just special enough that they feel the need to mention them?
(Sorry if I was a bit harsh.)
