Pronounced DAY-nah: original to me
Wdyt of Dana on a girl/woman? Do you prefer Dana, or, assuming the same pronunciation, Daina?
I love Dana.
For this prn. I would prefer Daina since I always to say da-na...
Wdyt of Dana on a boy/man?
ewwwwwwwwwww
Have you ever known a Dana? Which gender? Read/seen any characters?
I know a girl called Dana (da-na). It also reminds me of Dana Scully (X Files).
How old does it seem to you (and where do you live?)
From 15 to 35.
In Paris, France
Any expectations of race, religion, ethnicity, class of someone named Dana?
I would say a Dana is probably a white person, Christian or Jewish, from Europe or America. From upper middle class to upper class. I picture her more from an educated & traditional family than from a very rich, upstart one, because I find the name elegant but discreet and not tacky at all.
