[Opinions] WDYT of... Nico
I rarely see people mention this name. I like it just by itself, however I am thinking of having it be short for Nicasio. I haven't been able to find a meaning for it yet. Nicasio is a town in Northern Cal.that's all I know.
Do you like it as a full name?
thanks

I like Nico as a nickname for Nicodemus, Nicolo, or Nikolai. It seems incomplete as a full name, though.

Hmm... Well I do like Nico as a nn for Nicolas. I've never heard of Nicasio so I'm not sure what I think about that.

not really. I love Nicholas, Nicole, Nikita, Niki...but not Nico. Too Italian for me.

I like Nico or Niko as long as you're pronouncing it Neeko...But I think it should be used as a nn for something...
How do you pronounce Nicasio?

I don't like Nicasio but I love Nico or Niko short for Nikolai.

I don't like Nico by itself - it seems to beg for another syllable - but as a nn for Nicasio it's great. I also like it as a nn for any Nicholas variation :-)
