[Facts] Meaning of my name and printout
HEllo,
I have been very interested in the meaning of my name for many years but have been unable to find it anywhere. It is pronounced (key sahn).
I believe it is French in origin because of the "key" sound of the "qui" part of my name but am not sure. Also I am expecting a baby soon and am considering naming him Zion. I saw the name on your site and wanted to know how I could get more information about the meaning of it.
Thank You so Much!

Hi, Quisan. Just didn't want you to think you've been forgotten. Upon doing a 'net search, I found a reference to a cliff named "Quisan" near the town of Venasque in France. I sent out three separate e-mails to hotels and tourism departments in the area, but to date have received back no replies.
Geeze Louise, you'd think a tourism department or hotel would have at least ONE person on their staff who might be able to send back a polite reply to an English-speaking enquirer. I guess the French really do get crabby with people who speak English. :p
I may try some Esperantist contacts in that area. At least, from an Esperantist, I know I'll get some international cooperation. :)

Just curious--I used that name once in one of my websites sometime back. Thanks, "Charlie"
Hi,
Sorry couldn't resist butting in here but I think the cliff you are referring to just outside Venasque in Provence France is actually called Quinsan. I know someone who has a farm there and the Quinsan means 'holding' or 'farm'
