[Opinions] Re: Elizabeth

Overused or a classic? Both
Tired or fresh? Tired
Ugly or pretty? Pretty
I don't like it because the long, classic, conventional, 'classy' white-bread-ness I perceive about it, plus the overuse, just don't suit me at all.
I imagine a pretty, smart, average woman, any age.
My fave nickname by far is Elise. I like that a lot, so much that I prefer it used by itself as an independent name. Elise is darker, more modest, and less airy than Elizabeth, and that gives it more appeal to me.
Edited to add: I like the nickname Liz too, if it's adopted by the bearer (it doesn't suit all Elizabeths).
