Well, you've convinced me that you're not a total tryndee. ;-)But I don't think the letter Y magically makes masculine names "feminine". Arbitrarily adding a Y to a masculine name usually just results in the name looking misspelled to me, not "feminine".Now, Carlina or Carline does look and sound feminine to me. The former could be pronounced KAHR-lin-a, kahr-LIN-a, KAHR-leen-a, or kahr-LEEN-a (I would go with the first or last one); the latter could be pronounced kahr-LEEN or kahr-LIEN.
