Not so much racist but calling a woman a "chick" is an insult as well. ;)

I don't understand why. I never have. I like being called "chick." I used to date a guy who called me that and I just really like it.
I don't see the insult to it. It's a precious, soft, cute animal. I don't see why it would be wrong to be thought of as sweet and loveable.

I don't see why it's sexist, really ... no more so than calling a guy "mate" or "son" or something :-/
