It sounds just the word "floor" to me (except for a slight difference in the "r" sound, with a bit of a roll of the tongue) so therefore unattractive. I love the name Flora, though.
I'd never heard of Flor until I saw the movie "Spanglish," and it's the name of one of the main characters. The English-speaking characters had a hard time saying her name correctly, btw.
Edited to add: I do love the name Fleur. What about that?
