- I love
Isadora. I think
Claribel is okay but Clarabelle looks so much nicer. I think a lot of people see it as a cow name but for me, that association is very slight. I'd soon get over it if I met a human
Claribel :-)
- I think they'd be okay for sisters. They reinforce once another's olden-days style, if that makes senese. As a pair, they seem more old-fashioned that
Isadora and
Claribel do separately. That could be a good or bad thing depending on your taste ... I wouldn't personally use them together.
- Yikes. I think both names are too long to be paired with that surname, yes. Or maybe "too frilly" is more accurate, since
Claribel is only 3 syllables, and a more familiar 3-syl name (
Emily,
Julia) would be fine with the surname.
Claribel Tuivavalagi is just a serious mouthful.
- I don't think either
Clara or
Belle should be a nickname for
Claribel - they're names in their own right, and since neither appears in the name (not unless you went with Clarabelle) they seem a bit contrived. I'd rather see Clarrie by far.
