I've never seen American Idol, so I don't know about that, but I don't really like Blake. Blake Robert isn't bad, but I certainly wouldn't use it.
On a side note, my son (4) has a boy named Blake in his class and he calls him "Blank." :)

Thats so cute that Finn calls him Blank. There is a guy at work named Blake, im so gonna start calling him that! lol, im getting inspiration from a four year old.
