It's my mom's name. She hates it. She hates it so passionately I can't help but feel the same. She is mortified if anyone finds out that's her given name. The hatred is in my blood, and I can't help but hate it too. I do think Trudie is an adorable name for a young girl though.

WowI didn't know someone would hate their name that much. I won't tell her I know that, then. ;-)

LOL, she seriously gets mad if we tell anyone her legal documents say Gertrude and not just Trudy. Definitely don't tell her I spilled the secret. ;)
