Huh...good thing you gave the prn, 'cause I would've guessed it to be prn LORN-in (or something akin to that). I think of it as unisex, b/c, as you say, Loren is masculine, but the -yn could make it feminine. TBH, I don't really feel strongly about it either way. It's not bad, but there's that really compells me to like it, either.
