[Facts] Re: Rules about female/male names in different countries

In France there are certain laws about naming children, so as to ensure that the traditional saint names are kept in population. At the moment in particular the French equivalents of English trendies such as Noemie and Desire (with an accent on the es) are threatening the traditionals such as Lucie, Marie, Jean-Laure etc. I have three children, Delphine, Elodie and baby Madeleine, all of them named accordingly with the act.
