Lettice is pretty but (as you've probably heard) is dangerously close to lettuce.
Vermillion is adorable and cute (Vera is one of my faves and would make a great nn)
Mauve is cool, though I think Maeve is better.
Lilipur? Never heard of it but it's alright.
Ghislaine (I pron. it ZHEES-layn) is FANTASTIC.
Loveday? Too hippie-dippy/Valentine's Day for me.
Bertille is awesome (like a Bertha Lucille hybrid), and thank God (who I don't believe in either) you don't live in France (Bastille Day)
Florentina (little flower, right?) is GORGEOUS.
Albertine is pretty nice. I don't like Albert or any of its relatives, but I like the pron. ahl-VAIR-teen.
Axelle is also a GP of mine, but Axl Rose sorta killed it for everyone.

Lilupar is Persian (i'm fairly sure). I have an Indian girlfriend named Lilupar (she's nn'd Lila). I think it's GORGEOUS but don't have the right ethnicity. It means "water lily".
I pronounce Lettice as let-EES but it's definitely not said that way by anyone surrounding me, so on this list it stays.
I never thought about Vera for Vermilion. Maybe I'll work it in as a middle somewhere.
Floretina is little flower, yes. My girlfriends and I had a running joke about St. Little Flower when we were in grammar school, this name came out of that joke but because of that joke, here it stays.
I have Ghislaine in a combo as a second middle: Cecilia Maud Ghislaine but no one else seems to like it. My Grandmother (Cecilia) Great Grandmother (Maud) and Great Great Grandmother (Ghislaine) are all honored and I may very well use it.
The others just strike me as a bit OTT, but I love them just the same. So here they sit, maybe my boys will use them for my grandkids in a few years. (I am significantly older than most on this board).
