I adore!
Morwenna. I've never seen / heard
Morwen before, but I'm sure it's a variant. It has the same meaning, "maiden."
Morwenna usually gets "ho hums" from people when I suggest it so I'm really jealous on her behalf. Who's this
Morwen to come along and be the subject of a thread when poor
Morwenna gets overlooked?
Odd, but that's how my brain works.
Morwen doesn't feel finished to me, but that doesn't mean I can't grow to like it as much as
Morwenna. It makes a nice change from
Megan /
Meaghan. Two syllables ending in an "-n" sound certainly is popular at the moment, especially for boy names. Maybe parents of little girls who tend to use boy names for girls might like
Morwen. Thanks. I'll try suggesting it and let you know if it works.
