How nice! Perhaps she'll have a little Jamila one day herself. :-)
I'm not fond of the Gamila variant. For me, the rich, gooey "J" sound at the beginning sets up the warm "meel" sound perfectly. (Thus the workings of a name-nerd's brain.)
