Oh, I hate it. The Br- beginning, the fact that its first syllable is "bridge", the short -et ending, the way it rhymes with Gidget...I hate everything about the name. It doesn't help that I knew someone named Bridget who was weird and I didn't like. Anyway, Bridget's only saving grace is that Bridie could be a cute nn.
