I've heard the masculine form Lepidus pronounced, "LEH-pi-dus." So I assume you're pronouncing it, "LEH-pi-duh." Is that correct?
Tucked into the mn position I don't see it doing any harm. Plus, having an obscure ancient name could be pretty cool. Diana Lepida sounds like an ancient Roman woman with a story to tell . . . .
It reminds me a little of lipids, but not so much as to put me off the name entirely. Thmbs up (as a mn) from me.
